China has been an integral part of the SGI Dubai show for several decades. We are always delighted to see a very large representation from China each year. The participation has only grown every year and we aim to build it further. SGI Dubai 2019 which will be held on January 13 – 15, 2019 at Halls 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8, Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE, is a great opportunity for the Chinese manufacturers due to the billion-dollar EXPO2020 that will just be a year away from the 2019 show. So, there are a lot of enquiries and leads that the Chinese manufacturers can expect from the show and thereby grow their business.

The printing industry in the MENA region continues to grow and evolve. Data from Smithers Pira report entitled ‘The Future of Printing in the Middle East and North Africa to 2022’ shows that the region as a whole is set to expand from a value of $26.8 billion in 2017 at an annual rate of 8.7% to pass $40 billion in 2022.

Obviously selling such products in the MENA region is not without its challenges, but the various opportunities that arise far outnumber these challenges.
