Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC) has introduced its new 1001 Series of solid carbide routing tools for use on the aluminium composite materials (ACM), such as Dibond, which are commonly used in the sign industry.
Widely acknowledged as a leading manufacturer of technologically advanced cutting tool solutions, ITC already offers an extensive portfolio of routing tools, drills, knife tools and special purpose cutters. Now, the new solid carbide 1001 Series of single flute router tools incorporate a new geometry with a dynamic rake and clearance angle that is specially designed to cope with the challenges of machining even lower quality ACM sheets. Manufactured from an ultra-fine micro grade carbide substrate featuring ITC’s Vitreo coating and further complemented by precision tool balancing, the 1001 Series outperforms alternative routing tools.
In common with other products in the ITC portfolio, the 1001 Series works effectively on high-frequency digital cutting tables that run at speeds in excess of 30,000rpm. The new routing tools are available in a choice of 2, 3, 4 and 6mm diameters with an overall length of 50mm and a shank diameter of 6mm. |
